A full breakdown of exactly how Kylian Mbappe managed to keep his cool to score three penalties in a World Cup final has emerged online.
The Paris Saint-Germain superstar scored a hat-trick in Sunday's clash with Argentina, which saw a dramatic contest end 3-3 in regulation time.
France would lose the penalty shootout 4-2 and see their chance at becoming back-to-back world champions go up in smoke.

Mbappe was the star man, single-handedly dragging his team back into the game when 2-0 down with 10 minutes to go.
All in all, he scored three penalties in the game - two as part of his hat-trick and the other in the shootout.

His first goal came from the penalty spot after Nicolas Otamendi hauled down Randal Kolo Muani just inside the area.
After referee Szymon Marciniak pointed to the spot, Argentina full-back Marcos Acuna immediately darted over to try and get in Mbappe's head.
Acuna put his foot on the penalty spot in an attempt to scuff it. Mbappe spotted this, as well as Martinez attempting to kick the ball away, so decided to put his own foot on the penalty spot and pick the ball up. Always in control of the situation.
He fired his penalty past Martinez to half the deficit before a lovely volley ensured the game would go to extra time a minute later.

Mbappe received a second penalty in the 118th minute following Gonzalo Montiel's handball. As you can imagine, the pressure at this moment is seismic.
Acuna had some help when it came to disrupting the forward this time. Otamendi, Lautaro Martinez and Enzo Fernandez attempted to get in their opponent's head.
They didn't count on Mbappe having backup of his own. He nestled between Kolo Muani and Youssouf Fofana, who dealt with the furious Argentina players comfortably.
It took the game to a shootout and Mbappe was first up for France, while PSG teammate Lionel Messi was up first for Argentina.

Mbappe was once again met with the antics of Martinez. Unfazed, he went to the left for a third time to make it 100 per cent in the game.
The five-time Ligue 1 winner proved he's got an incredible mentality even in defeat. Kingsley Coman and Aurelien Tchouameni were the unlucky players to miss their penalties and cost France the game.
