One fan took Harry Maguire's performance against Germany so personally that he decided to explain the defender's problems to his girlfriend, as if he was Jamie Carragher, as you can see in the video below.
Maguire's inclusion in Gareth Southgate's squad was criticised even before he made an appearance, with the centre back not starting in any of Manchester United's wins this season so far, and starting all three of their defeats.
The annoyance of the fans was only added to as he started the defeat to Italy last week, although the defender claimed that pundits were only criticising him for 'clicks.'
However, more pressure was ramped up on him ahead of Monday night's game with Southgate deciding to leave Fikayo Tomori out of the matchday altogether.
A section of fans even booed the £80 million defender before kick off, with the United captain subjected to the abuse as he warmed up ahead of kick off.
During the game some fans showed him support by singing a song about his head being 'f***ing massive,' which was genuinely sung with affection.
But he didn't really give them a reason to continue supporting him, after his disastrous defending gave away the penalty that helped Hans Flick's side open the scoring.
It wasn't just the penalty that brought more questions about Maguire's inclusion however, as one fan clearly explained to his girlfriend.
As if embodying Jamie Carragher on Sky's Monday Night Football analysis, the fan pauses the game to point out the positioning of England's back four.
He mentions that Niklas Sule has scored just once in over 40 caps for his country, is on the ball and that it shouldn't be too much of a problem for the Three Lions to defend.
After allowing the action to go on he once again pauses it, pointing out to his girlfriend when the former Leicester City defender is leaving his position.
As Maguire gets drawn to the ball, we can see that Sule is going to have a lot of space to move into, and he duly obliges before getting a shot away.
Our new pundit then questions why the media aren't criticising Maguire more, claiming a conspiracy involving Manchester United, that sees the club paying off journalists not to mention his poor form.
After the penalty that Maguire gave away, England soon found themselves 2-0 down, with Kai Havertz doubling the visitors lead, and looking at yet another defeat.
However, they turned things around in 12 crazy minutes as Luke Shaw, Mason Mount and Harry Kane all getting on the scoresheet to put the hosts ahead.
Unfortunately it wasn't enough for their first win of the Nations League campaign, with Havertz scoring again with just three minutes of the game left.
