Frank Lampard was best known for his ability to arrive late in the box and score goals for Chelsea, but quite clearly he was also an excellent playmaker.
It's quite tremendous that Lampard became Chelsea's all time top goalscorer during his time at Stamford Bridge, even with 648 appearances to his name, 211 goals from midfield is quite incredible.

Of course the former England midfielder is constantly compared to his former rivals Steven Gerrard and Paul Scholes in the best midfielder in Premier League history discussion.
Each man has his strengths and of course the former Blues' man is best known for that goalscoring that saw him break records.
However his ability to find a teammate was also very good and it's best demonstrated by a compilation video of all his best playmaking.
Even Scholes would be proud of some of these passes.
The former West Ham midfielder moved across London to Stamford Bridge in June 2001 for around £11 million, before the Blues became Premier League winners.

He played with some real modern greats during his time at the club, especially after Roman Abramovich took charge in 2003 and Jose Mourinho became manager in 2004.
Whilst he scored over 200 goals for the club, his passes set up the likes of Arjen Robben, Hernan Crespo and Didier Drogba, amongst many others.
During 13 seasons with the club, before his surprise 2014 departure to Manchester City, the midfielder won three Premier League titles, four FA Cups, two League Cups, the Europa League and the Champions League.

Of course, both Scholes and Gerrard also have extremely extensive medal hauls as well and it's unlikely they'll ever be a definitive answer to who was the best.
For the national side, the trio were a problem as Sven Goran Eriksson, and others, tried to get them all in the same team, often leading to the Manchester United legend to play out of position.
The three men are all part of the vote to decide the next inductees into the Premier League's Hall of Fame, following Thierry Henry and Alan Shearer.
Lampard's passing along could have its own wing!
