Jamie Carragher once again picked Steven Gerrard over Paul Scholes and Frank Lampard, and his answer was based on one famous night for Liverpool.
Gerrard, Scholes and Lampard is the debate that will likely never go away, yes cynics might say partially because we won't stop writing about it but tough.

The Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea legends are always compared and everyone has their own opinion on which of the Premier League greats is the number one.
Opinions on the topic are often based on which team someone supports and that might also be the same for Carragher, who unsurprisingly picks Gerrard.
The Sky Sports pundit obviously played alongside his fellow Liverpool legend for many years but, answering the question recently, it was once specific performance that stands Gerrard above his peers, according to Carra, the 2005 Champions League final comeback victory against AC Milan.
"His performance in the second half of Istanbul - you're not going to get a more inspirational performance from anyone in a game of that magnitude," the ex England international defender said on the UMM YouTube channel.
"This is a player who played central midfield in the first half and it hadn't gone well for him. He then goes and plays in a different position, as an attacking midfield player in the second half.

"He then goes to right wing-back to stop AC Milan basically scoring the winning goal to make it 4-3. And that's why when people talk about the greatest player I played with or one the greatest players to play in the Premier League in terms of midfielders I always say Steven Gerrard.
"These other midfield players he was put up against, whether it's [Frank] Lampard, whether it's [Paul] Scholes, [Roy] Keane, [Patrick] Vieira, [Emmanuel] Petit - none of them could have done that in that second half.
"Even though they're great players, they couldn't have done it. They didn't have that capacity to still play and be as good as anyone else on the pitch in a different position."
Scholes, along with Roy Keane, who Carragher also mentioned, both missed United's famous comeback in a Champions League final.

The two men were both booked in the semi final second leg and were thus suspended in 1999, when Sir Alex Ferguson's side wrapped up the Treble against Bayern Munich.
Scholes would at least start in the 2008 final, when Fergie captured the European title for a second time, with Lampard on the losing end with Chelsea.
The Blues would win the title four years later, also against Bayern, with the England midfielder scoring one of the penalties.
