Defender Wout Faes has just scored two awful own goals as Leicester City take on Liverpool at Anfield in the Premier League.
On the back of a 3-0 defeat by Newcastle on Boxing Day, Brendan Rodgers’ side got off to the perfect start at Anfield as Kiernan Dewsbury Hall gave the Foxes the lead with a well-taken solo goal in the fourth minute.
Liverpool’s defending for the goal left a lot to be desired.

Jurgen Klopp's men continued to push for an equaliser and eventually, their pressure told as Trent Alexander Arnold’s cross was lashed into his own net by Faes in sensational fashion. It was a truly comical moment as the centre-back looked to clear the ball but ended up diverting the ball into his goal.
The Foxes goalkeeper was unmoved as the ball looped over his head into the goal.
Faes’ nightmare half continued as he found the back of the wrong yet once again just before half-time.

Darwin Nunez was played through one on one against Danny Ward, the Uruguayan chipped the ball over the goalkeeper but his shot came back off the post.
Faes tried to clear the ball away but ended up hitting the ball into the back of his own net again.
A dreadful half for the defender as he has singlehandedly turned this game around for Liverpool.

Liverpool, who have been playing well below par found themselves 2-1 up as the referee blew the half-time whistle. A big second half awaits both sides.
