PSG offer Kylian Mbappe 'never-seen-before' contract to keep him at the club

Paris Saint-Germain are pulling out all the stops to try and keep Kylian Mbappe at the club.

Kylian Mbappe has reportedly been offered a "never-seen-before" contract by Paris Saint-Germain in an attempt to keep him at the club.

Mbappe's current deal at the Parc Des Princes is due to expire at the end of the season and has therefore been able to speak to foreign clubs since 1 January.

It was initially first thought that Mbappe's contract signed in 2022 was a three-year deal before it was later revealed that it was only a two-year extension.

Real Madrid and Liverpool continue to be linked with the World Cup winner but it appears as though PSG haven't given up on keeping him in the French capital.

AfterFoot RMC say that PSG are prepared to offer him an astronomical salary which would see him become one of the highest-paid athletes on the planet.

It's said the proposal would see the former Monaco earn a whopping £86 million per year, which equates to around £1.8 million per week.

Journalist Daniel Riolo discussed the offer, which he believes is something only PSG would be able to deliver.

"It would be something never seen before, it is something incredible. It far exceeds €100m per season," Riolo said on After Foot RMC.

"It will have benefits for the brother, for the family and for the player agency that Mbappe's mother wants to create."

Mbappe has scored 26 goals in 25 games this season and has been joined in the first-team by his younger brother Ethan, which could be a factor in a decision on his future.

PSG chief Nasser Al-Khelaifi has said he and Mbappe have a gentleman's agreement but it has been reported that the 25-year-old has agreed to forgo up to €80 million if he decides to leave.

Recent rumours claimed that Mbappe penned an agreement with long-time admirers Real but that was swiftly denied.

A statement said: “There is no agreement around Kylian’s future, especially since there are no discussions started about it.

“No type of influence could dictate the timing of Kylian’s discussions, reflections or decision.”
