Lionel Messi's list of records in football is absolutely endless, with some notable achievements being the most goals in La Liga, the most official assists recorded, the most video game cover appearances and the most appearances in World Cup matches.
But in 2015, the seven-time Ballon d'Or winner broke a world record in a square in Japan as part of a TV programme.
The 36-year-old's expert control and touch was put to the ultimate test by the game show who challenged Messi to kill the ball dead after it dropped from high in the sky.
Messi had kick the ball over a barrier that was being held up in the air by cranes at different heights, before attempting to bring the ball down under control.

10 metres was achieved very easily, while 13 and 15 metres were also no problem whatsoever for Barcelona's all-time goalscorer.
Then came the grand finale. 18 metres in the air, Messi leathered the ball into space, touched it down and started doing keepy uppies like it was the easiest thing in the world.
To show he hadn't fluked it, Messi went and replicated his heroics for a second time - further proving no-one can match his technical ability.

Messi has appeared on Japanese TV on a number of occasions and completed all sorts of challenges - one of which saw his incredible accuracy in full flow when he knocked down 15 panels in 82 seconds.
Balls were fired out of a machine for Messi to volley and he passed the test with flying colours. Former Liverpool star Takumi Minamino also participated in the same challenge and fared better than both Messi and Neymar.
Messi, also curled in free-kicks against a giant robot goalkeeper and demonstrated just why many deem him to be the best set-piece taker in football history.
