Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has admitted he is unsure if Darwin Nunez will be fit to face Brighton in the Premier League on Saturday.
Liverpool travel to face the Seagulls away from home this weekend with the Reds just one point ahead of their opponents in the table.
On Thursday it emerged that Nunez had missed training this week because of an unspecified injury and was a major doubt for the match.

Klopp confirmed the striker was still struggling with the issue and said he is waiting for an update from the club's medical staff.
"If he cannot train today then, yes, that would rule him out," Klopp said in his pre-match press conference on Friday morning.
"We are waiting for the latest information; it is not a major one, but it still kept him out of training. We have to wait for that."

Klopp went on to provide further injury updates, confirming Roberto Firmino is still not available because of a calf issue that has kept him out since December.

"Millie [James Milner], yesterday, did big parts of training and will be back in normal training today. Bobby not," said Klopp.
"Stefan [Bajcetic] will be back in training today. He was out, he got a knock on the hip bone, which is quite uncomfortable, but he will back as well and that's it pretty much."
Speaking about Firmino's injury, Klopp added: "In the first moment, it was like a little injury where the estimate [was] 10 days, two weeks
"He did the normal rehab stuff, all the experts told us what we can do - and then Bobby felt again something and that kept him out then for longer.

"I don't know exactly when he will be back, but he's not close to team training, no."
Klopp is already missing a number of first-team players, including long-term absentees Luis Diaz (knee), Diogo Jota (calf) and Arthur Melo (muscle).
He is also without Virgil van Dijk, who been ruled out for more than a month after suffering a hamstring injury against Brentford.
The injury to Nunez is another blow for the Reds, who are without a win so far in 2023.

After losing 3-1 to Brentford in the Premier League on January 2, Klopp's side drew 2-2 with Wolves in the third round of the FA Cup on January 7.
Nunez scored his 10th goal of the season in the draw at Anfield but is now a major doubt for the trip to the Amex Stadium.
