Liverpool are reportedly ready to trigger the £43 million buy-out clause for Barcelona's 17-year-old wonderkid Gavi.
The midfield prospect made his debut for the club in August and and has featured 19 times for the Blaugrana so far this season.
Gavi also became the youngest ever player to represent Spain in October, running the show in a win over Italy in the UEFA Nations League semi-final win.
With his ability on the ball abundantly clear, Gavi has already been likened to Andres Iniesta and his current Barca manager Xavi.

And he's already attracted interest from the rest of Europe. European champions Chelsea and Bayern have been touted as potential suitors for the starlet but now Elnacional say Liverpool are keen.
Jurgen Klopp wants to improve his central midfield options and has told those high up at Anfield that Gavi is "the chosen one".
The Liverpool boss believes the acquisition of Gavi would be a "great investment" due to the player's dirt-cheap £43 million (€50 million) release clause.

Because of the situation, Liverpool will not even look to negotiate with Barca and instead force their hand buy activating the clause.
Gavi is contracted until 2023 and Barca see him as a key part of their future alongside fellow world-class talents Ansu Fati and Pedri.
Similarly, they are said to want to increase his release clause to £804 million like they did with their other two gems.
However, Gavi is understandably disappointed with the current predicament at the Nou Camp and knows he could move to Liverpool as early as January.

Struggling Barca are seventh in La Liga after 15 games and dropped into the Europa League for the first time in 17 years on Wednesday after a 3-0 loss to the Bayern Munich saw them finish third in Group E.
Gavi was particularly emotional and had tears flowing when he was substituted in the second half.
