Liverpool's midfield duo of Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could both be on their way out in the summer transfer window according to Fabrizio Romano.
Both Keita and Oxlade-Chamberlain's current contracts at the club are set to expire in the summer of 2023 and are not expected to be extended.
Neither midfielder has played an influential role in Jurgen Klopp's side this season and have had injuries along the way.

Romano has been speaking on his YouTube channel and what the Reds' transfer window could look like.
Romano said: “They want to sign midfielders, it could be more than one because from what I’m told Oxlade-Chamberlain will leave as a free agent at the end of the season. There are very good chances also for Naby Keita to leave as free agent from what I’m told it’s a serious possibility."
Klopp has also admitted in recent weeks that he and his side could do with some new midfielders.

"I know we have had this discussion since it all started. I am the one who said we don’t need a midfielder, and you were all right and I was wrong. That’s the situation. But the specific point doesn’t change — we will do something but it has to be the right one.
“We are actually working constantly on these things, sometimes [a possible transfer is] too expensive, sometimes not the right player, sometimes the situation changes. We are working and will see if something will happen or not. I don’t know.
“We are looking and if it is the right player we need him, and if it is not the right player we don’t need him. We will not change how we deal with the situation so there is nothing for me to say to you in this moment. We will see.”
