Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold has opened up on what it was like having to face Sadio Mane in training every day.
Mane spent the majority of his Liverpool career facing Alexander-Arnold in training.
The Senegalese forward joined the club in 2016 from Southampton for £10million, which is the same year Alexander-Arnold made his debut.

Last summer, after the Champions League final, Mane left the club in a move to Bayern Munich.
At Munich this season, Mane has managed six goals and three assists in 14 Bundesliga appearances.
Unfortunately for the 30-year-old, he suffered an injury in the final game before the World Cup and has missed ruled out on the entire tournament.
What has Trent said about Mane?
Alexander-Arnold told talkSPORT: “Sadio brings a completely different aspect to that (Senegal) side. I think he got top-three in the Ballon d’Or this year, that’s all that needs to be said.

“Someone who’s a world-class player and as bad as it sounds, it probably helps us that we’re not playing against him. That’s the level of player (he is).
“I only say that out of pure respect because I’ve played against him in training and it’s not a nice feeling. He’s one of, if not, the best left-winger in the world in my opinion.
“I was gutted, absolutely gutted that he had to miss out on this tournament.”
Alexander-Arnold could have been looking forward to a nice reunion between the pair on Sunday, as England prepare to face Senegal in the round of 16 of the World Cup, but as previously mentioned Mane is injured.
