Forget the treble. Erling Haaland has set his sights on a far greater challenge – and it involves reuniting the Gallagher brothers.
Earlier this month, Manchester City superfan Liam Gallagher, who was the lead vocalist of rock band Oasis from 1991 to 2009, said he was "ready to go" after a fan asked about the possibility of an Oasis return if City win the Champions League .
Blur frontman Damon Albarn then stirred the pot further, when he predicted a comeback."I can guarantee they’re going to reform,” he told The Sun. “In fact, I’ve put money on it. They’re brothers and it would be wonderful to see them reconcile.”
It's fair to rumours of a potential reunion have sparked excitement amongst Oasis fans but will they bite the bullet and reform? Well, record-breaking Norwegian forward Erling Haaland thinks he can convince Liam and Noel to do exactly that.

When asked by Viaplay if he could bring the two City fans together again, he replied: "Maybe they need a Norwegian guy, a peacemaker to get them together."
Or what about joining Oasis as a third singer? "That's a good question," Haaland laughed. "Yeah of course I can be. Doesn't mean I will be, but of course I can be."
In the above interview, Viaplay reporter Jan Aage Fjørtoft also brings up Haaland's infamous spell as a musician, when he was dropping bars on YouTube under the name 'FlowKingz'.

On the subject of Liam Gallagher, the former Oasis singer is known for his outspoken views on boyhood club Manchester City.

Back in February, for example, he launched a scathing attack on the Premier League after it was reported that City had allegedly broken financial rules.
“The Premier league are BIG BULLYS [sic] Investigate 1 Investigate them all you shower of s**t,” he tweeted.
Gallagher then replied to a fan who suggested manager Pep Guardiola will leave champions City at the end of the season. "You’ve been saying that since he come," he said. "Sit down and stop smoking cream eggs."
