Antony and Bruno Fernandes clash during first half of Crystal Palace vs Man Utd, it got heated

Manchester United duo Antony and Bruno Fernandes were spotted having an on field argument during the first half of their Premier League clash against Crystal Palace.

United travelled to Selhurst Park looking to get another win on the board as they look to chase down league leaders Arsenal.

Palace are always a tough nut to crack and it proved to be the case again on Wednesday night as United failed to create any huge chances in the early stages of the tightly contested affair.

Just shy of the half-hour mark, it was captured that Antony and Fernandes were exchanging words after an attack broke down.

Fans were quick to react to the incident on social media.

One fan said: “Did Antony just say “Puta” to Bruno?”

Another tweeted: “Antony and Bruno Fernandes insulting each other on the pitch. You love to see it!”

A third fan added: “Antony and Bruno Fernandes rowing over a misplaced pass. Loudest Selhurst Park has been so far tonight.”

Someone else wrote: “Antony, don’t start an argument with Bruno Fernandes, you’re only going to lose to that man.”

United continued to try and get the go-ahead goal but it was Palace who went the closest.

David de Gea had to be at his best to deny Odsonne Edouard’s fine effort in the 41st minute.

Eventually, United managed to break the deadlock in the 43rd minute as Fernandes finished off a fine move by tucking home a pullback from Christian Eriksen. United went into the break with a 1-0 lead.

Erik ten Hag's side are currently fourth in the Premier League table and a victory against Palace will propel them into second place and close the gap to Arsenal to just six points.
