Bradford City boss Mark Hughes clashed with a Crewe Alexandra player after they netted an injury-time winner.
Hughes’ side are looking to secure a place in the play-offs in their bid to earn promotion to League One.
However, their hopes were dented after a late penalty by Crewe Alexandra’s Chris Long, who sealed a 3-2 win in the 11th minute of stoppage time.

The defeat leaves Bradford in seventh place, three points clear of eight-placed Mansfield Town.
At the end of the match, Hughes was involved in a fiery exchange with match-winner Long.
The player was captured walking towards the Manchester United legend on the touchline, as Hughes appeared to decline a handshake, the pair went face to face.

Hughes and Long had to be separated after they exchanged a few words and the former Wales International was still shouting towards the Crewe forward as they walked off.

Speaking about the incident, Hughes said: “The lad seemed to want to make a point and say hello. He got in my face .
“I wasn’t quite sure who he was, if I’m honest, so you’ll have to enlighten me.

“He seemed to want to put his face in my face and I didn’t appreciate that so, in the end, he went away.”
Bradford were 2-0 down in the first half but managed to equalise after two goals in the first nine minutes of the second period.
However, the late penalty from Long meant Bradford’s hopes of reaching the automatic promotion places are now over.

Bradford will face champions Leyton Orient on the last day of the season as they bid to secure a place in the playoffs.
Former Manchester City and Fulham manager Hughes was appointed Bradford boss back in February 2022, with them being the first ever club he has managed outside of the Premier League.
