Man United could get relegated and Erik ten Hag makes changes that make no sense, claims Jamie O'Hara

"Man Utd could get relegated!"

Manchester United could get relegated and Erik ten Hag makes changes that make no sense, claims Jamie O'Hara.

Ten Hag's team are rooted to the bottom of the Premier League having lost their opening two matches of the new season.

They suffered a shock home defeat to Brighton on the opening weekend of the season and got destroyed by Brentford last weekend.

Thomas Frank's side scored four goals in 35 minutes to condemn Ten Hag to his second straight defeat as Man United boss.

The Dutchman has already begun his inquest, cancelling a proposed day off and looking for new recruits ahead of transfer deadline day.

TalkSPORT pundit O'Hara isn't convinced with Ten Hag and has boldly claimed that Man United could get relegated.

The former Tottenham man has also slammed the manager's changes, saying they make 'no sense'.

He said: "Man Utd could get relegated!

"I’m not saying they will but they got beat by Brighton and lose 4-0 to Brentford."

O'Hara added: "The performances are disgraceful! Ten Hag makes changes that make no sense."

Gary Neville also pulled no punches as he ripped into the ownership of the club, taking aim at the Glazers.

"The embedded failure over a 10-year period and where the club currently are has to come back to the ownership," he exclaimed.

"They've still not dealt with the football operation; they've still not dealt with the player and recruitment department; they've still not dealt with the stadium which is rusting and needs massive money spent on it.

"Manchester United need a billion pounds in these next two-three years to either rebuild or renovate that stadium.

"They probably need another £500-£600m on a training ground and other infrastructure projects and football investment.

"They've only got £40-£50m cash left in the bank, they were cash rich three years ago when they had £350m in the bank but they've no longer got that.

"Something is going to have to give."

It doesn't get any easier for Ten Hag as they welcome Liverpool to Old Trafford next Monday.
