Manchester United fans are fuming after seeing an alternate angle of Marcus Rashford’s apparent dive against Southampton.
On Sunday, United arrived at Old Trafford looking to get back on track in the Premier League after last week’s 7-0 thrashing by Liverpool.
However, their task was made harder after Brazilian star Casemiro was shown a straight red card in the 34th minute for a high challenge on Saints player Carlos Alcaraz.
With 75 minutes on the clock, Rashford looked to get the ball ahead of Southampton goalkeeper Gavin Bazunu, the England forward went to ground and was criticised for what many thought was ‘the dive of the season’.

Now, a video showing another angle of the incident has been doing the rounds on social media.
The caption read: “Rashford clearly caught here with no penalty given. A full independent investigation is needed.”
However, some fans are still not fully convinced.
One said: “This is not penalty, referee should give him yellow card for cheating.”

Another tweeted: “This is absolutely insane, that is never a penalty.”
A third fan added: “No way Rashford was getting to that ball anyway.”
Someone else wrote: “This is a great example of manufacturing contact. Clear dive.”
Whilst a fifth commented: “Never thought I’d see the day when a United fan complained about refereeing.”
United boss Erik ten Hag was not happy with the officiating during the match, he said: “The refereeing has influenced this game and we talk about two issues [Casemiro's red and no penalty for United].

“Casemiro has played over 500 games in Europe. He never had a red card but now in four or five [Premier League] games he has two red cards.
“We will deal with that but the deal was that this game was influenced by the referee.”
United will now turn their attention to the Europa League as they hold a 4-1 lead heading into the round of 16 second leg tie against Real Betis.
