Ralf Rangnick made just one signing for Manchester United in his short tenure and he has yet to even play for the club.
Rangnick was appointed interim boss at United in December 2021 after the sacking of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and took charge of a total of 31 games, winning 11, drawing 12 and losing eight as the Red Devils finished in sixth place in the Premier League.
Part of his arrangement was that he would stay on as a technical consultant after his interim stint was over, but that did not materialise as he was appointed manager of the Austria national team when Erik ten Hag was handed the reins.
He spoke regularly about the need to freshen up a squad which needed "open heart surgery" according to the 64-year-old, but Rangnick only brought in one new face at Old Trafford.

On 1 March 2022, United signed Tobias Collyer from Brighton and handed him a three-year deal.
Upon arriving at the club he took to Instagram to express his excitement over signing for the 13-time Premier League winners, writing: “Delighted to join this great club @manchesterunited can’t wait to get started!”
Yet the midfielder has not made a senior appearance, despite training with the first-team ahead of the Europa League play-off win over Barcelona last month.

He has predominantly played for the Under 23's, making nine appearances in the Premier League 2 and featuring on three occasions in the EFL trophy.
Collyer is an England youth international and is known for running around 13 kilometres per game according to a former coach.
But he has found first-team opportunities hard to come by, despite Ten Hag showing he is prepared to reward young players if they perform well.
He is competing with fellow midfielders Zidane Iqbal, Kobbie Mainoo and Dan Gore, who are all held in high regard.
