It is a piece of transfer news that has got the football world talking.
Premier League leaders Manchester City are believed to be interested in signing Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba once his contract expires at Old Trafford in the summer – and there appears to be serious legs in the story.
In addition to interest from City, the French midfielder is 'open' to making the move, according to The Guardian, who suggest Pogba is keen to work with head coach Pep Guardiola.
Guardiola, meanwhile, believes the 29-year-old former Juventus man could operate in a deeper role in midfield.

So have they made a bid yet? Well, the Manchester-based club, who were knocked out of the Champions League by Real Madrid on Wednesday, cannot make an official approach to Pogba until the end of the season.
That being said, City are willing to offer the World Cup-winner a four-year contract at the Etihad, with the option to extend for a further year.
Pogba's future at Manchester United has been uncertain for a while.

Back in March, he caused controversy when he said the club's season was "dead" after another frustrating, trophyless campaign.
"You have to be honest, the last five seasons have not satisfied me – really not at all,' Pogba told Le Figaro. "This year it is dead, we won't win anything. Whether it is with Manchester United or at another club, I want to win trophies."
He went on to criticise his inconsistent role at the club, where he has played in numerous positions since his £93.2 million move from Juventus in 2016.
"It's simple with France: I play and I play in my position; I know my role and I feel the confidence of the coach and the players," he added.

"It's normal to feel a difference at Manchester United because it's hard to be consistent when you often have a change to your position, or the team system, or your partners... do I really have a role? I ask the question but I don't have an answer."
It was reported earlier this month that Pogba had left the Manchester United squad group chat on WhatsApp after receiving two contract offers from European giants Real Madrid and Juventus.
If Pogba did make the move to City this summer, he would join a select few who have decided to make the short trip.

In recent times, Peter Schmeichel, Andy Cole and Carlos Tevez have made the journey from Old Trafford to Maine Road, or the Etihad as it now stands. And before that, Denis Law, Brian Kidd and Terry Cooke swapped the famous red for blue.
