"I will..." - Alexis Sanchez makes it clear who he is supporting in Arsenal vs Man Utd

"I will..." - Alexis Sanchez makes it clear who he is supporting in Arsenal vs Man Utd

We know who he'll be cheering for.

Alexis Sanchez has made no secret of who he will be cheering for when Arsenal take on Manchester United on Sunday.

The 34-year-old famously forced a move to Old Trafford in 2018, leaving Gunners fans devastated after a hugely successful four-year spell in North London.

Sanchez scored 80 goals in 166 appearances for Arsenal after joining from Barcelona in 2014 - also providing 45 assists.

But things came to a sour end after Sanchez refused to extend his contract, opting to sign for Premier League rivals United instead.

His time in Manchester was largely underwhelming, though. He cut a frustrated figure after scoring just five goals across two seasons before packing his bags for Inter Milan.

Now, the Chilean has taken to social media to make it very clear where his loyalties lie for today's crunch match.

Sanchez sends his support to Arsenal

After Arsenal posted a video of Sanchez scoring against the Red Devils previously, the winger re-shared the video, attaching a heartfelt response.

He wrote: "You remembered me. I will never forget you too. You will always be in my heart. You were my first family in England.

"And everyone took good care of me especially the fans! All the best Gunners!"

Arsenal take on Erik ten Hag's Manchester United on Sunday afternoon, as the Red Devils look to close the gap on the Premier League leaders.

Sanchez now plays his football in France, joining Ligue 1 side Marseille in the summer. He has done well since his arrival, scoring six goals in 16 appearances, helping his side to third place in the league.
