Arsenal and Manchester United are the only English teams who can reach the Europa League quarter-finals, with both teams vying for a spot in the next round.

The Red Devils travel to Real Betis for the second leg of their European tie on Thursday with a commanding 4-1 lead.

Goals from Marcus Rashford, Antony, Bruno Fernandes and Wout Weghorst made light work of the Spanish side at Old Trafford.

However, Real Betis will be hoping to use the home crowd to their advantage and come up with an almighty turnaround at the Estadio Benito Villamarin.

Meanwhile Arsenal's contest against Sporting Lisbon is balanced on a knife edge at 2-2, with William Saliba's header and a Sporting own-goal setting up an intriguing second leg at the Emirates on Thursday.

But should both Premier League sides progress, could they face each other in the next round?

Can Man Utd and Arsenal meet in the quarter-finals?

If both United and the Gunners make it through, then an all-English quarter-final could be on the cards, as clubs from the same country are eligible to play each other in the draw.

Due to the fact there are no seedings or country protection, the pair could face off in the next round, or further down the line in the competition.

When is the Europa League draw?

The draw for the quarter-final, semi-final and final will take place at 12pm UK time on Friday March 17 in Nyon, Switzerland at UEFA's headquarters.

Whilst the first leg of the quarter-finals will be played on Thursday April 13.

The second legs are scheduled for Thursday April 20.

Here is a full list of the teams still left in the competition, which is set to be halved on Thursday.

  • Bayer Leverkusen or Ferencvaros (2-0 after first leg)

  • Sevilla or Fenerbahce (2-0 after first leg)
  • Juventus or Freiburg (1-0 after first leg)
  • Manchester United or Real Betis (4-1 after first leg)
  • Shakhtar Donetsk or Feyenoord (1-1 after first leg)
