Manchester United supporters have been handed a major boost following the news that Christian Eriksen could return to action next week.
The Dane hasn't featured for United since January, when he sustained an ankle injury during United's 3-1 win over Reading in the FA Cup round of 16.
The Red Devils missed his experience in the heart of midfield on Sunday when they lost 2-0 to Newcastle in the Premier League.

The defeat saw them drop out of the Champions League places, with a crucial match against Erikesn's former club Brentford on the weekend.
And while Erik ten Hag ruled Eriksen out of the contest, journalist Samuel Luckhurst has provided a positive update on his recovery, revealing he returned to first team training on Tuesday.

Luckhurst told the Manchester Evening News that Eriksen would be available for selection next week, with the 31-year-old eyeing a return to action on Saturday, April 8th, when United welcome Everton to Old Trafford.

Ten Hag will also have Casemiro back for the contest, after serving his four-match ban on the sidelines.
United have relied on Scott McTominay, Fred and the on-loan Marcel Sabitzer in their absence, though they have struggled to strike a successful balance, with the team often being overrun in midfield.

Ten Hag revealed his desire to sign a dynamic midfielder in the summer, admitting they needed "outstanding players".

"I think we knew before the start of the season, you are right, we need outstanding players at Manchester United that is clear," said the Dutchman.
"If you have injuries, you need replacements and you need competition, especially if you want to compete in four competitions, you need that to be successful."
