Manchester United Have One Big Condition For Donny Van De Beek Loan

Manchester United Have One Big Condition For Donny Van De Beek Loan

Two new clubs have come forward in an attempt to take Van de Beek on loan this month but United have one caveat on letting him leave.

Two more clubs are interested in taking Donny van de Beek on loan from Manchester United, but the club have one big condition to letting him go.

Van de Beek was signed in August 2020, with many fans and pundits excited by his signing, but things really haven't worked out for him at Old Trafford.

He has started just four Premier League games in the 18 months since he joined the league and often remains sat on the bench once all three subs have been made.

The removal of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as manager hasn't even helped and, having already been dropped from the Netherlands' squad, there is a real possibility he could miss out on the World Cup at the end of the year.

According to previous reports, Van de Beek wants to go out on loan this month and had been offered to Newcastle United and now there's two new suitors.

King of transfer rumours, Fabrizio Romano, claims that Crystal Palace and Valencia have both made offers to loan Van de Beek until the end of the season.

However, United will not accept any offers that include an option or obligation to buy as they want him in the first team for the 2022/23 season.

The treatment of the former Ajax player by United has come into question on a few occasions, with fans angry at Ralf Rangnick's assessment of the player's performance off the bench against Aston Villa.

There were claims of the club disrespecting the player recently, after they posted about his 50th appearance for United but didn't post in until the early hours of the morning.

If they continue not to allow him to go on loan, despite seemingly having no interest in playing him, then it will only further anger fans.

The fact that United want him in the squad for next season might be because they're eyeing Erik ten Hag to be the next manager, with the Ajax boss one of a four man shortlist.

United are already set to lose Anthony Martial on loan this month, with the forward's move to Sevilla for six months all but confirmed.

Jesse Lingard is another player who could be leaving, with the forward having been heavily linked with a move to Newcastle United, just months before his contract at United expires anyway.
