An insider into the bidding process for Manchester United has reportedly revealed what Qatari investors have planned for the club if their bid is successful.
The soft deadline for offers for the club, as set by their current owners, the Glazer family, is 10pm this Friday. Only Sir Jim Ratcliffe has publicly confirmed his desire, through his company Ineos, to submit a bid.
However, Bloomberg reported earlier this week that Qatari investors will also launch a bid ahead of the deadline, although it is unclear as to whether they are willing to meet the Glazers' £5 billion asking price.

The Daily Mail say that UEFA will not block a Qatari takeover after being satisfied that the bid will be coming from a separate entity to Qatar Sports Investments (QSI), who are the owners of Paris Saint-Germain. UEFA regulations state two clubs owned, controlled or influenced by the same entity cannot play in the same UEFA competition.
As well as the reported bids from Qatar, it has also been claimed by Ben Jacobs that North American investors are keen on launching an offer for United.
Now, more details about the Qatari bid have been revealed.

Sky Sports News report that, as per an insider, a successful Qatari bid would lead to 'significant investment being made in the team, Old Trafford and the city of Manchester'.

A key complaint of United fans during the Glazer ownership is the poor condition of Old Trafford, due to a lack of investment into repairing and improving parts of the stadium. In addition, the Carrington training ground has allegedly seen little change in recent years.
This was alluded to by United legend Cristiano Ronaldo in his explosive interview with Piers Morgan in November - although United say, as per Metro, that the training ground has seen 'wholesale changes'.
Ronaldo claimed: "Nothing changed, surprisingly. Not only the pool, the jacuzzi, even the gym. Even the kitchen, the chefs, whom I appreciate - lovely people. They stopped in time. It surprised me a lot.
"I thought I would see other things. Technologies, and infrastructure. Unfortunately, we see a lot of what I used to see at 21, 22, and 23 years old. It really surprised me.

"Since Ferguson left, I haven't seen an evolution at the club. Progress is zero. You have to tear it down and rebuild it. If they start with me, it's not a problem."
The insider also claims that Qatari investors are prepared 'to spend significant sums in restoring the team and the club's infrastructure to its former glories'.
However, they are 'determined not to overpay', which may put a spanner in the works of any discussions with the Glazers.
