Memphis Depay 'returning to Manchester United has always been of interest', according to reports.
Depay has reportedly been told he's no longer part of Xavi's Barcelona plans for next season.
He's thought to be up for sale, with the club believed to be seeking £21.5 million this summer.

Tottenham are said to be in the running to snap up the 28-year-old, but it appears he has his eyes set on a move back to Old Trafford.
That's according to Spanish journalist Gerard Romero, who claims the Dutch forward is interested in returning to Man United ahead of the 2022/23 season.
Depay was snapped up by the Red Devils by then-manager Louis van Gaal in 2015.
But his spell in Manchester lasted just 18 months as he was sold to Lyon, where he showed his potential - alerting Barcelona who signed him on a two-year contract last summer.
He played 38 games across all competitions last season, scoring 13 goals.

The frustrated forward recently took to social media to post a cryptic tweet amid uncertainty regarding his future.
"I see how certain tactics been played around me as a football player," he tweeted.
"It’s all good, God like this about me.. that’s why I'm favored.
"My whole life i wasn’t good enough, didn’t apply to the standard looks and didn’t have the right behavior
