Transfer Markt have put together the most valuable XI based on their figures.

Mo Salah, Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland all feature in the most valuable XI in world football.

Transfermarkt, a German website, provides comprehensive information on clubs and players all across the world and has a market value system feature.

It means value of players go up and down related to performance and age among other factors.

And from recent figures and not actual transfer fees, the game's most valuable XI has been put together - totalling a whopping €1.03 billion.

In goal is Thibaut Courtois of Real Madrid, fresh from a sensational Man of the Match performance in the Champions League final win over Liverpool. The Belgian is valued at €60 million.

The back four costs a whopping €295 million and includes Trent Alexander-Arnold (€80 million), Ruben Dias (€70 million), Matthijs de Ligt (€70 million) and Alphonso Davies (€70 million).

West Ham captain Declan anchors the midfield with a price tag of €80 million - though the Hammers probably won't be in agreement with his valuation.

Salah, still yet to put pen to paper on a new deal at Liverpool, is valued at €90 million after a stunning campaign which scored him the PFA Player of the Year award.

On the opposite flank is Vinicius Jr, the man who denied Salah and Liverpool a treble-winning season after scoring the winner in the Champions League final last month.

The Brazilian is slated to sign a contract extension which will include a €1 billion release - though here his market value is listed at €100 million - €10 million more than Manchester City star Phil Foden.

Up top and completing the side is the deadly duo of Haaland and Mbappe - the two talents tipped to carry the torch from Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

The combined value of the pair is €210 million, highlighting their position as two of the very best and most expensive players around.

Transfermarkt figures are known to cause a stir. Last year, Turkish side Fenerbahce launched a lawsuit against Transfermarkt and claimed they have been "negatively manipulating" the values of their players.

In addition, Ronaldo was once so unhappy with his price on the site that he blocked them on Instagram.
