Newcastle vs Bournemouth LIVE stream: Is game on TV? Channel and team news

Newcastle vs Bournemouth will not be broadcast live on TV or streamed in the UK

Newcastle United take on AFC Bournemouth in a match defined by one man who has had a tremendous impact across both clubs in differing spans.

Eddie Howe, the manager to unite these two fanbases, will be in the Magpies’ dugout as his club of a combined 14 years, Bournemouth, make the arduous trip from the south coast to the northeast.

The Geordies have enjoyed an indifferent start to the 2022/23 campaign, winning once, losing once and drawing four times but are looking on a positive trajectory ahead of the fixture despite not winning since the opening day.

Bournemouth, despite losing 9-0 at the hands of Liverpool, have had an OK start considering they already sacked Scott Parker four games in.

Coming from two down to beat Nottingham Forest was a huge achievement from new boss Gary O’Neil, who also picked up a point at home to Wolves.

It will be a tough test for the interim boss, though, as Newcastle have only lost one game at home this year (a 1-0 defeat to Liverpool in April). They have won eight and drawn four since.

Here’s everything you need to know about Newcastle United v AFC Bournemouth.

Newcastle United Team News

The Magpies have been without Bruno Guimaraes, Allan Saint-Maximin and Callum Wilson but all three have improved their condition, which was helped by the postponement of last week’s fixtures. Karl Darlow, Emil Krafth and Jonjo Shelvey are all out long-term, whilst Alexander Isak will look to continue to hit the ground running in Wilson’s absence.

AFC Bournemouth Team News

Bournemouth will likely be without Joe Rothwell and Ben Pearson for their trip northeast,  but Junior Stanislas is likely to make a timely return to action for the first time in over a month. David Brooks will also be missing with a hamstring problem.
