Mid-April: the weather's warmer, nature seems to become richer and greener, another polarising Wrestlemania passes and we start to begin and end our workday in daylight.

However, this period of the year is notable not just for those reasons, but because it's the time where the competition of the Premier League truly starts to heat up, the multiple possibilities there once was start to draw into conclusions and questions on supporter's lips will start to be answered.

We'll see those seemingly destined for relegation enter a crunch period in their fight for survival and those jockeying for European facing some massive tests in their pursuit.

Perhaps, for some, it's even starting to dawn that yet another season will be wrapped up and sealed, turning into mere memories sometimes reignited and re-hashed on our screens by sports television companies.

Indeed, the Premier League is set to roll out a jam-packed football fest for us to sink our teeth into.

Starting on Saturday, April 14th, Premier League matches will feature nine times in a ten day period.

April 15th has Newcastle welcome Arsenal to St James' Park, while and Manchester United take on West Brom, before West Ham faces Stoke the day after, on April 16.

April 17th has a struggling Brighton go against the in-form Spurs.

Following this, Bournemouth vs Man United will feature on April 18th before Burnley vs Chelsea and Leicester vs Southampton plays out on April 19th.

April 20th will see one day off, but don't you worry one bit, as April 21st will have Watford vs Crystal Palace before any Premier League withdrawal symptoms start.

April 22nd has a whopping four games: A London derby of Arsenal vs West Ham as the main attraction, before a finale of Everton vs Newcastle on April 23 - the crowning jewel on a remarkable run of Premier League action.

And after all this, Champions League football will be back on our screens.

Perhaps those sports TV packages you're paying don't seem so pricey now? Perhaps not.
