And the Brazilian has become the latest Liverpool figure to have a go at Pickford - disagreeing with the way the England international approached the situation.
Speaking to Sky Sports, he said: "Every goalkeeper has a different way to play, a different way to move, but on that moment 100 per cent it is not a necessary movement.
"But thinking what I have in my mind when I go for a situation, I go to finish the situation because if I go too soft I know the opponent can score."
Liverpool's No.1 added: "Everyone has their own way to go for the ball.

"I don't agree with that [Pickford's] way, everybody can see that, but it was just an unnecessary moment and movement."
Van Dijk has since undergone successful surgery on his knee with Jurgen Klopp providing a positive update on the club's influential No.4.
"He is a quick healer. He can cope, it's clear. All these things will help," he said.
