Bernardo Silva fluffed a glorious opportunity to level against Paris Saint-Germain, somehow missing from two yards out.

Silva missed a big chance to equalise following Idrissa Gueye's thunderous goal in the eighth minute.

Kevin De Bruyne picked out Raheem Sterling who headed towards the goal, but his effort hit the crossbar.

Silva, though, pounced on the loose ball - though pinged the woodwork, too, even though it looked easier to score.

The Portuguese followed up with another attempt but to no avail as he claimed for a penalty.

On social media, one joked: "Timo Werner vibes."

A second tweeted: "Miss of the season so far."

A third added: "What a miss!"

Silva's miss proved crucial as his side lost 2-0 in Paris, with Lionel Messi scoring a stunning strike in the second half.
