After Manchester United's sacking of one club legend, they couldn't be about to hire another straight after...could they?
Well according to Eric Cantona himself, he is set to become the club's next gaffer, after announcing the revelation in an Instagram post earlier today.
King Eric was a seriously gifted player in his heyday, scoring 70 Premier League goals for United between 1992 and 1997.

However, since retiring, the 55-year-old hasn't exactly set the managerial world alight, only previously coaching France's beach football team.
More known for film appearances, it would represent quite a career change for the man whose name is still sung in the Stretford End.
And yet, here appears to be the confirmation, straight from the horse's mouth.
While Cantona looks earnest enough in the video, we suspect United fans are going to need a bit more convincing than that.

After all, several reports in recent days have linked the likes of Pochettino, as well as Lucien Favre with the vacant manager role.
The only former United player whose name has been put forward for the position is Cantona's old teammate, Roy Keane. The ex-club captain was mentioned by some Sky Sports pundits during a rather tongue-in-cheek segment of their Super Sunday coverage.
it remains to be seen what exactly Cantona is illuding to, although the "see you soon" sign off suggests we won't be waiting too long to find out.
His statement doesn't appear to have impacted the bookmakers just yet, as Pochettino and Valverde still very much lead the way as favourites.
