Eric-Maxim Choupo-Moting has just proved that football really is a funny old game.
Two years ago, the Cameroonian was relegated to the Championship with Stoke City after a disappointing debut season in England.
Fast forward to the present day and the former Schalke forward was the hero as Paris Saint-Germain reached the Champions League semi-finals in dramatic fashion with a last-gasp win over Atalanta.
1-0 down going into the dying embers in the first Champions League quarter final in Lisbon, the substitute was involved in the build-up to the equaliser and then went one better when he tapped home the stoppage time winner after being picked out by Kylian Mbappe.

He's anything but first-choice in Paris, where he's been since signing in a shock deal back in August 2018, but he came up with a massive goal when it mattered this evening.
It really is a serious glow-up from Choupo-Moting, who was the talk of town on social media after his heroics.
Ballon d'Or incoming for Choupo-Moting...
