Clement Lenglet has issued a statement on social media after a picture of him smiling alongside Robert Lewandowski emerged online following Barcelona's crushing Champions League elimination.
Lenglet started in his side's bruising 3-0 defeat to Bayern on Wednesday.
Barca were dumped out of the competition having finished third, behind the German champions and Benfica, who beat Dynamo Kiev 2-0 to book their spot in the next round.

Lewandowski, surprisingly, failed to get on the score-sheet with his team netting three goals without reply at the Allianz Arena.
But he was involved in one of the main takeaways from the European clash after an image of him with Lenglet surfaced online.
The Frenchman was pictured smiling and joking with the Poland striker at full-time, which didn't go down well with Barca fans.

But he has since offered an explanation behind his interaction with Lewandowski, saying the picture was about something that happened in the moment and doesn't reflect how he feels about the result in Germany.
On Instagram, he wrote via Google Translate: "I want to send a message to the culé fans. First of all, my sadness for yesterday's result, this club only deserves the greatest and we have not been able to fulfill it.
"The second is to explain an image of me in which I smile with Lewandowski about something that had just happened at that moment.

"It is a specific reaction that does not reflect my feeling for the result at all.
"My values are unquestionable and anyone who knows me knows my commitment and my love for my profession, for Barça and especially for its fans.
"I would never have such a reaction to something that has hurt so much since yesterday.
"Today we are very sad but now we have a mission: to give Barça back where it deserves."
