Kevin De Bruyne has scored some of his best career goals with his left foot, despite being right-footed.

Kevin De Bruyne's weaker foot is genuinely better than most players' stronger foot and he's not even left-footed.

On Wednesday night, the Belgian magician scored four goals in a 5-1 rout over Wolves at Molineux - including a 17-minute weak foot hat-trick in the first half.

Seven minutes in, De Bruyne was sent in behind by Bernardo Silva and hit a low finish past Jose Sa to put City 1-0 up.

He then restored City's lead in the 16th minute after compatriot Leander Dendoncker had levelled matters for Bruno Lage's side.

De Bruyne completed his hat-trick, the third-quickest in Premier League history, in stunning style, by unleashing an unstoppable effort that flew past Sa and buried a fourth with his right on the hour mark.

He nearly had a fifth as well, leathering another left-footed strike against the post late on.

De Bruyne is predominantly right-footed but is equally as competent with his left. In fact, many of the 30-year-old's best goals have actually come with his supposedly inferior foot.

After his masterclass last night, someone put together a compilation of De Bruyne's weak foot worldies and the quality of goals is just next level.

With left foot finishes against Chelsea, Leicester, Spurs, Arsenal, Borussia Monchengladbach, Liverpool, Manchester United, Burnley, Sevilla and Denmark, De Bruyne has quite the catalogue.

He strikes the ball so cleanly that you'd be forgiven for thinking it his favoured foot. Practice truly makes perfect.

According to Belgian journalist Kristof Terreur, as a youngster, De Bruyne was banned from using his natural foot by a neighbour after destroying grass plant pots and flowers in gardens.

He ended up focusing on his left and is more than deserving of his five-star weak foot rating on FIFA.

"Whenever I get the opportunity to shoot with my left or right, I just take it," De Bruyne told the official Manchester City YouTube channel post-match.

"I'm confident enough to do that - sometimes you miss and sometimes you score.

"Since I've been young I've practicing with my left foot and I think I've benefited now in my career."
