Cristiano Ronaldo Reacts To Being Jeered During Warm-Up Shooting Drill Before Newcastle Game

CR7's response was a tad salty to say the least.

It would be safe to assume that Cristiano Ronaldo is not having the best of times at the moment, and is cutting a rather frustrated figure in an underachieving Manchester United team.

The Portuguese forward could have easily been shown a red card for a rash challenge on Ryan Fraser, and rushed straight down the tunnel at full time following a lacklustre performance in the 1-1 draw with Newcastle United last night.

Edinson Cavani salvaged a point for Ralf Rangnick's team on Tyneside, and the Red Devils can count their lucky stars that they didn't leave the north east empty-handed.

Ronaldo's best moment at St James' Park actually came before the match, as he took part in a shooting drill as part of the team's warm-up.

Newcastle's fans cheekily jeered every shot he missed, but CR7 had the last laugh when he finally fired home a shot and cupped his ears to the home crowd immediately afterwards.

That was as good as it got for the five-time Ballon d'Or winner though, after producing a blunt display upfront against the Magpies.

He failed to register a single shot on target in the game, despite being one of the few shining lights in an otherwise underwhelming season for the Red Devils.

The 36-year-old has an impressive haul of 13 goals in 19 appearances across all competitions for United, and will hope to add to that tally when Burnley visit Old Trafford on Thursday.

Rangnick's side head into the match against the Clarets sitting seventh in the Premier League table - seven points adrift of Arsenal, albeit with two games in hand over the Gunners.
