Tottenham Hotspur have started flogging Carabao Cup final merchandise on the club's official website shop - a decision that has been mocked by many fans on social media.

Jose Mourinho's side are just one game away from winning their first trophy in 13 years after beating Championship side Brentford thanks to goals from Moussa Sissoko and Son Heung-Min.

The North London club, who last claimed silverware in 2008 when they defeated Chelsea in the League Cup final, will face Manchester City at Wembley stadium on April 25th.

And it appears the club are keen to cash in with a collection of Carabao Cup-inspired merchandise.

Despite the final being over two months away, Spurs' official shop currently have a £3.00 magnet on sale, as well as a £1.50 pen, a £3.00 keyring and an £8.00 Carabao Cup Final pennant.

You can also "kick start your day the right way" by enjoying your favourite hot drink from the exclusive Carabao Cup final mug, priced at £8.00.

Or maybe you want to carry your ID or keys "with pride" whilst wearing a Carabao Cup final lanyard for £4.00.

The list goes on.

There are several other Carabao Cup-themed bits on the website, including a scarf, a flag and a t-shirt that will be "Ideal for everyday wear" to show your support for the team reaching the final, according to the club's website.

Here's just a selection of reactions from Twitter in the past 24 hours.
