FIFA fans have been fuming at EA Sports over a huge glitch regarding one of the most recent squad building challenges.

AS Monaco striker Wissam Ben Yedder was given an 88-rated Player of the Month card which includes statistics such as 90 dribbling and 89 pace and shooting.

The way of getting your hands on the spicy special card was to do the SBC and trade in five separate squads that match the specified requirements when it comes to chemistry, nationality and overall squad rating.

One of the squads needed to have a rating of 86 for gamers to unlock a pack full of six gold player cards and six silver, but somehow a glitch in the system meant the rating dropped down to 80 and it made it around 150,000 coins cheaper for those who spotted it.

The SBC challenge was briefly removed by EA after 27 minutes, although it has since returned to the original 86 overall needed and those who completed it to begin with still have the card in their possession.

It sent social media into overdrive, with Ben Yedder's name trending on Twitter without him doing anything of note:

It's only the latest episode of fans being unhappy with how EA have handled an error and the way in which they've referred to it as "your issue" in their response.
