Crawley Town And TOWIE Star Mark Wright Added To FIFA And He's Got The Worst Rating In The Game

Crawley Town defender Mark Wright has been added to FIFA 21 in their latest squad update - and he has the joint-worst rating in the entire game.

The 34-year-old, who joined the League Two side on a non-contract basis back in December, has played twice for the club so far - a brief debut appearance against Leeds United in the FA Cup and a difficult 45 minute run-out against Harrogate Town in the league.

He has since been restricted to minutes on the pitch after picking up an injury.

Wright has certainly done well to achieve his lifelong dream of becoming a professional footballer, 16 years after being released from Spurs, but we're not entirely sure he'll be happy with his overall rating on FIFA 21.

The man who appeared in reality show The Only Way Is Essex has been given a 47-rating on Career Mode, as well as a one-star weak foot, 48 sprint speed and low defensive/attacking work rate.

To put Wright's rating into further context, the average rating of a League Two defender is around 62, while the next-lowest-rated Crawley player is Archie Davies, who has a 53-rating on the game.

Wright is the joint-worst player on the game, alongside five other players, including Oldham midfielder Ben Hough - something that many fans are struggling to understand.

"EA destroyed this man," said one fan on SoFifa, while another said: "Bit harsh with the rating and stats."

The 34-year-old will be hoping to make more of an impact at Crawley in the coming months, but manager John Yems clearly believes in his talent.

"Mark has been training with us the last couple of months and really impressed everybody in training." he said back in December.

"It's taken us thirteen years to sign him back and he's finally returned to Crawley, hopefully he can carry on from where he left off and I am pleased to have him back with his experience on and off the pitch.

"Mark is a great role model for players in the future."
