Hakim Ziyech hilariously teased his Chelsea teammate as they reported for pre-season training this week.

A host of Chelsea stars returned to the club's training lodge in Cobham ahead of the new season.

But not everyone arrived in tip-top condition. Well, that's according to Ziyech who jokingly poked fun at Edouard Mendy.

The goalkeeper hasn't played since an international friendly for Senegal on June 8.

The Morocco wizard reckons the 29-year-old got carried away over the summer, bantering with him in training.

He poked Mendy in the stomach and told another colleague: "Too much kebab!"

The towering stopper took it well, laughing off Ziyech's joke.

Mendy, who arrived last summer, starred for the Blues last season as he helped them secure a top four finish and the Champions League title.

Despite Thomas Tuchel's success in Europe, Chelsea have been linked with a bunch of world-class players including Erling Haaland.

Tammy Abraham could be used as makeweight to secure the signing of the Borussia Dortmund phenom.

On the Abraham situation, Tuchel said: "Tammy had a bit of a rough time. He started twice or three times and was twice substituted for tactical reasons at half-time.

"He could not have the impact he demands from himself and we wish from him. Then he was injured and lost a bit the connection and possibility to fight for his place in the squad.

"The squad has played very well without him, we've had a lot of results without him. Now we're in the decisive part of the season where it's not so easy to bring players who are injured into the shape.

"We have only three substitutions, which is a big, big thing. It's a big handicap because three changes most of the time means you only have two because the last one is one you don't want to lose too early.

"So, circumstances are not easy but it's on Tammy to do everything possible to let him out. We have a full squad now.

"We have 22 players on the training pitch and it's very, very hard to select the 18 players for Premier League matches."
