Stoke City fans were ranked first in English football for the number of supporters' arrests throughout the 2018/19 season ahead of Leeds United and Aston Villa.
The Home Office have released figures for last season and the statistics showed there were 1,381 football-related arrests in England and Wales.

Almost 60% of arrests (817) occurred inside a football ground.
That figure, though, has dropped by 10% compared to the previous season.
The number of new football banning orders in force during 2018/19 increased by 19% compared to the previous season.

The Premier League has the lowest number of arrests (2.1 per 100,000) of any English competition while The Football League Trophy had the highest number of arrests (22.6 per 100,000).
The clubs with the highest number of arrests were Stoke City (80), Leeds (49) and Aston Villa (42).

Sheffield United (41), Manchester City (39) and Manchester United (36) were fourth, fifth and sixth, respectively.

Championship outfit Stoke lead the way and by some distance. Their fans notably clashed with Port Vale in the Football League Trophy as Staffordshire Police made 11 arrests in last season's cup game.
