It's been a year since the tragic passing of little hero Bradley Lowery. In his honour, we remember when he was an England mascot for their World Cup qualifier against Lithuania.
Bradley was invited by The FA to walk out with the players at Wembley Stadium, following on from serving as a mascot for his beloved Sunderland.

Jermain Defoe had earned his first England call-up since 2013 for the Lithuania clash. The prolific forward struck up an adorable friendship with Bradley.
Defoe carried him out for their Premier League fixture against Everton. And the pair were reunited but this time on the international scene.
Bradley, from Blackhall Colliery in County Durham, became a huge hit with the British public thanks to his immense bravery and beaming smile.

Unfortunately, he lost his brave battle sadly passing away on July 7th 2017.
Despite the sadness we felt, we must remember that Bradley's legacy will live on forever.
Throughout all of the difficult times in his short life, he managed to touch the hearts of millions around him with incredible warmth, energy and bravery.
