Goals from Ilkay Gundogan, Ferran Torres (x2), Gabriel Jesus and Rodri condemned Arsenal to their third Premier League defeat of the season.
Arsenal's shambolic defending sent social media wild, with their former star man Ozil seemingly taking a shot at Arteta on social media.
He used his old manager's mantra against him in a tweet, which reads: "Trust the process," accompanied with a broken heart and worried face emojis.
Ozil left Arsenal in January after being frozen out of the squad by Arteta.
