Qatar Using High-Tech Kit To Prevent Pitch Problems

Qatar are going far and beyond to make the sure the World Cup 2022 runs smoothly.

One of the main takeaways from the Euro's is the poor quality pitches, in order for the World Cup 2022 don't encounter a similar problem Qatar have enlisted high-tech equipment.

The brains behind the operation are from Qatar University who have created and developed 3D Printed models of the potential stadiums to ensure there are no questions to be answered come 2022.

Saud Ghani, the lead scientist, is aware of the problem in France and is eager to correct the issues, saying;

"We are aware of what is happening in Euro. There will be good pitches according to the highest quality of FIFA requirements (in 2022)."

Ghani reiterated the benefits the players will experience come game day as several managers have publicly criticised pitches in particular Marseille and Lille. The aforementioned printed models then go through rigorous testing to make the surfaces are playable, as aerodynamics, light and resistance are all examined.

The unprecedented tournament is set to take place during November and December, with it believed to be the most expensive World Cup as organisers claiming it could cost a staggering £23 billion.
