Manchester United new boy Amad Diallo has made an early impression on Red Devils fans with his attitude and behaviour at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils splashed out last October to land the highly rated 18-year-old Ivorian winger from Atalanta for an initial fee of £19m, which could rise to £37.2m through additional bonuses.

However, United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wasted no time in making it clear why the Red Devils paid as much as they have done for the former Atalanta starlet.

"It will take time for him to adapt but his speed, vision and fantastic dribbling ability will stand him in good stead to make the transition," he said.

"He is a player with all of the raw attributes that are needed to be an important player for Manchester United in the years to come."

Diallo, who has penned a five-year deal, has already been spotted training with his new teammates.

And one of those moments that eagle-eyed fans noticed was the in-form Bruno Fernandes parting 'words of wisdom' on the United youngster.

Transfer news expert Fabrizio Romano also claimed on his Here We Go Podcast that Diallo is 'happy' with the club and Solskjaer.

And Romano has teased that it might not be long before fans experience their first taste of the winger playing for United.

When he was asked how Diallo was settling in at United, Solskjaer told reporters: "Very good. He can handle the ball, he has enjoyed training and makes a difference in training, which is quite remarkable at his age.

"There will need to be some adjustment to settle into the hustle and bustle of the physical part of the Premier League but I can't see it being too long until he's in the squad."

Just when it seemed Diallo had wowed fans with his attitude in training and praise from Solskjaer, the United player also won them over with his behaviour off the pitch.

Diallo shared on Instagram a clip of him watching compilations of legendary former United boss Sir Alex Ferguson and Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.

Solskjaer has even hinted that fans could see Diallo make his United debut much earlier than expected, adding that he is a "very good character, very polite, smiley boy who works really hard."

The Norwegian explained: "It might be quicker than that [four to five weeks].

"He has definitely settled down well, the players have taken to him and he is a very good character, very polite, smiley boy who works really hard.

"He's doing his sessions, getting used to us. Of course, there's always a period of adjustment needed but he's settling in well."
