Hashtag United's game against Concord Rangers was forced to be abandoned after a stray firework hit a player.
In the 59th minute of Friday night's Essex Senior League Reserve Division One clash in Pitsea, Hashtag player Matas Skrna was jogging towards his own goal when a firework was fired across the Len Salmon Stadium from a house nearby.
Seconds later, the firework exploded after striking Skrna on the leg. This is shocking.
As you can see in the footage above, Skrna can be seen hobbling around in pain before dropping to the floor.

Hashtag United, who sit top of the Essex Senior League Reserve Division One, later confirmed their player was okay after the incident and that the police had been informed notified after the "house where fireworks came from refused to stop".
The club wrote on Twitter: "We expect fireworks whenever @hashtagutd play but not like this. Our player, Matas Skrna, is luckily ok but this could have been bad. The game has been abandoned at 2-0 up as the house where fireworks came from refused to stop. Two more landed near the pitch.
"The police have been notified. Stay safe."
A game between Waterford and Shamrock Rovers in the League of Ireland was also halted by fireworks on Friday night and again, a player went down after being struck by a stray cracker.

It is believed Waterford's Anthony Wordsworth was hurt as fireworks were being set off inside the stadium.
Moments later, players from both sides were then taken off the pitch by referee Rob Hennessy.
At the half-time break, an announcement was directed towards visiting supporters."The referee has stated that if there is any more anti-social behaviour, the game will be abandoned."
