It looks like Barcelona have a new No.7.
While it appeared Philippe Coutinho was set to don the No.14 shirt, previously worn by footballing icon Johan Cruyff and more recently Thierry Henry, he's now set to take another shirt number.

Following the departure of Arda Turan, Coutinho has swept in and reportedly taken the No.7 shirt.

The Turkish midfielder wore the shirt but Ernesto Valverde has deemed him surplus to requirement, with the club confirming his transfer to Istanbul Basaksehir on a loan deal until 2020.

Coutinho, who joined the Camp Nou for a whopping £142 million, will now wear the shirt which has been in the possession of some Barcelona stars.

Though the Barcelona faithfuls will have to wait to see him in action. He's sidelined with a thigh injury, and is expected to be back in 'around 3 weeks'.

But he has fans salivating at the prospect of him linking up with Ousmane Dembele and Lionel Messi.
