Manchester United's official Twitter account accidentally used the Europa League hashtag following their 2-1 defeat to Istanbul Basaksehir in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
It was a night to forget inside the Başakşehir Fatih Terim Stadium. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side slipped up with a series of defensive gaffs and their Turkish opponents capitalised.
Former Chelsea and Newcastle striker Demba Ba opened the scoring after being left unmarked in his own half. The 35-year-old ran the length of the pitch and slotted home past a helpless Dean Henderson in goal.

Basaksehir winger Edin Visca soon made it 2-0 after yet more poor defending.
United managed to get one back before half-time through an Anthony Martial header but it wasn't enough.

After three games played, the Premier League side still sit on top of Group H after RB Leipzig secured a 2-1 win against PSG, although their latest defeat has brought major concerns among supporters.
Social media was rife with criticism and to top it off, the club's official Twitter account posted a Europa League hashtag following the full-time whistle.
It was soon deleted but screenshots quickly spread across the platform.
Speculation continues to grow surrounding the future of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, especially after Roy Keane suggested that the Norwegian could lose his job because of inconsistent performances from his players.

And after the full-time whistle, he responded to those rumours.
"I decline to comment on such a thing," he told reporters. "Of course it's early on. Opinions are out there all the time.
"You've got to stay strong. I'm employed by the club to do a job and I do that to the best of my ability with our staff."
