Newcastle United fans were left in stitches as Allan Saint-Maximin hilariously reacted to a supporter's bizarre helicopter celebration.

Saint-Maximin scored a brilliant goal to send Newcastle through to the FA Cup fifth round after beating Oxford United 3-2 on Tuesday.

The Frenchman skipped past two defenders before unleashing a terrific strike into the back of the net. He then celebrated his goal in front of the traveling Toon Army.

But he got more than he bargained for as a fan produced an X-rated gesture by exposing himself then swinging his penis.

The Newcastle star took to social media to react to the fan's obscene celebration by posting a superb tweet.

Naturally, his GIF sent social media into overdrive.

"You should remove that extra L in your name Allan as you clearly never take one," Asim Chaudhry aka Chabuddy G wrote.

A second tweeted: "This is great content."

A third tweeted: "Hahahahaha what a celebration."

Another added: "Lmaooooo ASM one of the greatest personalities in the league. Prove me wrong."

Speaking after the game, the 22-year-old winger said: "When I scored I went directly to the fans, because I know it's really important for them."

Steve Bruce said: "That's twice we made hard work of it. I did think we deserved it. I didn't think we were in any danger at all and all of a sudden they've scored from a great free-kick and a wonderful volley and then it's game on.

"Fair play to the players, they stuck at it and we won it with a wonder goal, which was good to see."

Newcastle, meanwhile, resume their Premier League campaign on February 16 against Arsenal.
