Kasper Schmeichel has been branded the "biggest and most obnoxious" player in the Premier League after shouting at the linesman.

Leicester City beat West Ham United 4-1 at the King Power Stadium with the visitors scoring a penalty through Mark Noble.

And during the spot kick, Schmeichel could be heard abusing the linesman as he approached the goal line for Noble's penalty.

As the Danish keeper walked back to his line after being cautioned, he pointed at the match official then said: "Don't start with me!"

The abuse Schmeichel aimed at the linesman became the talking point of the online football community.

"I'm not sure there's a bigger twat in football than Kasper Schmeichel," one social media user wrote.

A second tweeted: "Kasper Schmeichel is a prick btw. Should have been sent off for that dissent during the pen incident toward the ref and the linesman!"

A third added: "Kasper Schmeichel attitude toward officials is a disgrace. Gets booked for dissent then starts gobbing off at the lino!"
