Real Madrid's Toni Kroos Scores Directly From A Corner Against Valencia

Toni Kroos scored an incredible quickly-taken corner during Real Madrid's victory over Valencia.

The German midfielder's quick thinking saw Real Madrid open the scoring against Valencia in Wednesday's Spanish Supercopa clash.

He swiftly placed the ball on the corner quadrant then took a few steps back before unleashing a terrific right-footed strike.

He curled the ball into the net with Valencia keeper Jaume Doménech horribly caught out as he failed to keep the ball out.

Kroos' expertly taken set-piece sent social media into overdrive.

"Even the TV camera missed it Toni the genius went Trent Mode," one social media user wrote.

A second tweeted: "TONI KROOS... CORNER TAKEN QUICKLY... GOALLLLL."

A third added: "Kroos with that marvellous corner taken quickly goal."

Real Madrid went onto beat Valencia 3-1, with Isco and Luka Modric adding to Kroos' stunning goal. Daniel Parejo pulled one back from the spot in stoppage time.
