Someone Has Added The Legendary 'Vroom' Commentary To Dan James' Insane Solo Goa

It needed it, to be honest...

Someone has added the legendary 'Vroom' Formula One car noise commentary to Dan James' insane solo goal and our prayers have well and truly been answered.

The 21-year-old, who couldn't have been any closer to joining Leeds United on Deadline Day, grabbed the headlines for Swansea in their FA Cup fifth round victory over Brentford.

In the 53rd minute, he picked up the ball deep in his own half and skipped past three players like they weren't even there before supplying the finish to notch one the best counter-attacking goals you'll see this season.

The sheer pace is genuinely on par with the unreal speed Kylian Mbappe regularly produces.

But it's made even better with the greatest bit of commentary in football history mixed in.

When Venezuela's Jan Carlos Hurtado displayed incredible pace to burn from his own half and left three Brazil defenders in his wake, the man in the commentary box got so excited he started mimicking a Formula One car and going 'Vroom' to convey how fast the player was dribbling.

Words had truly failed him and he could only manage a slew of car engine noises.

Sadly Hurtado was unable to finish off the sublime mazy run with a finish but the commentary has still gone viral regardless, with over 1.9 million views and a serious number of retweets on the clip.

And it fits perfectly to footage of James racing to the opposite end of the pitch and scoring for Swansea. Thanks to Steve on Twitter for creating these masterpiece.

Forget Martin Tyler's "AGUEROOOOOO!" and even Kenneth Wolstenholme's classic "They think it's all over, it is now!" line from England's 1966 World Cup win, this excited South American bloke is the man responsible for the best piece of commentary of all time.

A word on James though, he looks a serious talent and we look forward to see him turning up on the afterburners on many more occasions in the future.
